Bernard Snoeck is a former member of the Belgian´s military´s General Intelligence & Security Service (GISS). At the end of the Cold War he worked operationally in counter-espionage and in counter-terrorism analysis in the 2000s. He later managed the office for Trend analysis & Strategy, which is devoted to improving intelligence analysis and forecasting. For over 8 years he represented the Belgian intelligence community within the Global Futures Forum, an international organisation dedicated to intelligence analysis, which includes over thirty countries. He was one of ten representatives, who forms the steering group of the GFF.
