Jason Walters

Jason Walters is an MA student at Leiden University´s Institute of Public Administration where he is studying crisis and security management (CSM), which is part of the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs. Concurrently he is also studying philosophy of humanities, as part of a double master´s programme which consists of philosophy and history. He holds a bachelor´s degree in humanities from the Open University.  He is currently writing his CSM master thesis on Islamic radicalisation and de-radicalisation. Walters has personally encountered salafi-jihadism, as he is a former member of the jihadist network the Hofstadgroup.
